This course examines the ultrastructure of cells and sub-cellular organelles. The study includes the interrelationship of structure and function, cellular biochemistry, bioenergetics, and cellular differentiation. Note: Students are advised not to attempt this course unless they have obtained a grade of at least C in CHEM-2202(3) and CHEM-2203(3).
Prerequisites
BIOL-1115 and BIOL-1116 (prerequisite) BIOL-3221L (lab) (must be taken concurrently).
