PSYC 2480 Cognitive Processes

An introduction to the higher mental processes from an information processing perspective. Topics include attention, cognitive development, imagery, language, memory and problem-solving. Extensive reference will be made to recent experimental findings. Students may not hold credit for both PSYC 2480 and PSYC 2481. Prerequisite: [PSYC 1200 or the former PSYC 1201] or [PSYC 1211 and PSYC 1221] or written consent of department head.
